Professor NAGAMI Kozo (Tohoku University), with over 28 years of experience in global disaster risk reduction at JICA, will share insights from his extensive on-the-ground work in developing countries and his ongoing research on methodologies to minimize disaster risks.
Professor Akito Murayama (The University of Tokyo), a prominent authority on land use and district planning, will bring perspectives drawn from his involvement in major urban planning projects – such as Nagoya and Shizuoka City Master Plans – and his numerous co-authored publications on collaborative urban regeneration and sustainable city design.
