New INTERSECT visiting research fellow Eleni-Ira Panourgia
We are delighted to announce that Eleni-Ira Panourgia has been selected as the INTERSECT Visiting Research Fellow for Fall 2025.

Eleni-Ira Panourgia is a sound and visual artist and researcher whose work explores new forms of expression across sound, objects, spaces, and environments. Her interdisciplinary practice engages with artistic, design, social, and ecological processes to develop complex aesthetic and methodological approaches.
She has presented her work internationally in museums, galleries, festivals, exhibitions, radio, journals, and conferences. Eleni-Ira completed her PhD in Art at the University of Edinburgh as a Scholar of the Onassis Foundation and is currently a Teaching and Research Fellow at Gustave Eiffel University. She is also the co-founder and managing editor of Airea: Arts and Interdisciplinary Research.
